Trypophobia and discomfort

PGW200 Procedural Geometry and Workflows
For this assessment we where to make a sculpture with everything that we know and that was with simulations and various procedural geometry and where to make a work flow to discuss a human emotion. The one i chose was fear and more specifically phobias and anything to do with fear and visual discomfort.
One of the problems that was faced was that one of the objects kept separating from the main body this issue was them fixed by adjusting the amplitude of the small spheres untill they fit within the main body.
A second problem is that the spheres where not displacing within the normals of the main body. this was rather a simple fix, all that was needed was a normals node to be placed on and the smaller spheres would gain the desired affect
When creating the sculpture the plan was changed mid way and focused mainly on trypophobia which was the fear of holes combined with monster types that focus on having a formless shape.
The color scheme of green and red was chosen as these represent disease and blood which are unsightly when put together and best fit the sculpture which moved in a "organic" way.
Next was the lighting that was a simple white box with white lighting on the ceiling of the white room. Although basic, the effect was chosen to resemble a laboratory room that mainly has white lighting as to perform experiments.
Overall the final render with its basic colors did not capture the shine of the previous renders the project was completed. However with a little bit more time physics could have been added to make object look more "alive" and actually crawl and writhe around.
Other ideas like making the object in to a body of water was scraped as it would not have giving the object a "alive feel".
